Ali is a partner in Accenture’s Media and High Technology practice, specializing in software distribution, licensing and large transformational programs. In addition to client engagements his responsibilities include developing and communicating Accenture’s view on the software industry, sharing best practices among client teams and initiating new growth programs and campaigns for Accenture. He joined Accenture in 1989 after completing the Master’s program in Industrial Engineering at the University of Washington. He received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering from Oregon State University. Prior to joining Accenture, Ali worked as a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer for Intel Corporation. Ali has written articles for Industrial Engineering, Circuits Engineering and Human Factors in his area of expertise. One of Ali’s passions is to make the Seattle community a better place to live and raise a family. Ali and his wife Shahina are active supporters of school programs for students with special needs. He is an avid fan of the game of Squash and enjoys traveling with his family to new destinations.
