 Amanda spent the last twenty five years working in the “for profit” sector of the software development/financial services industry. Her career began in Boston and for fifteen years, Amanda  worked for a variety of firms that either developed financial software or provided financial services. In 1997, Amanda moved to the Puget Sound area, where she worked for  the Russell Investment Group for ten years. In 2007, Amanda decided to transfer her energies to the nonprofit sector and began working at NPower in June of 2008. Amanda is also on the board of Childcare Resources and participates on the financial committee for the YWCA of King and  Snohomish counties. In her spare time, Amanda likes to hang out with her highly energetic seven year old daughter.
