Patrick has a broad background in science and technology, combining an education in engineering with several years experience developing Web applications in support of scientific research. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, he went on to work for the Applied Physics Laboratory on projects relating to statistics, meteorology, and cognitive science. In 2007 Patrick joined NPower as a Web Consultant.
When not developing for NPower customers, Patrick writes and performs songs as a member of a rotating handful of bands and projects in the Seattle area. He enjoys traveling and finished the 2006 Mongol Rally, a road trip through Europe, Central Asia, and Mongolia for the benefit charity and aid organizations.
