Barbara Dingfield
Consultant, The Giving Practice, Philanthropy Northwest
Barbara Dingfield is a consultant to private and corporate foundations. From 1994 – 99 she was the Director of Community Affairs at Microsoft, overseeing corporate and employee giving, as well as employee volunteer programs. Prior to joining Microsoft, Ms. Dingfield was executive vice president and director at Wright Runstad & Company, a regional commercial real estate development firm.
Ms. Dingfield has been active in civic and volunteer activities in Seattle for over 25 years. In addition to serving on the NPower board, she currently serves on the board of the YMCA of Greater Seattle and on the Steering Committee of Sound Families, a Gates Foundation initiative for homeless families. She received her B.A. from Swarthmore College and Master’s degree in Economics from Columbia University.
