Alison McCaffree
Executive Director
Alison comes to NPower from a diverse professional experience that spans the business, academic and nonprofit sectors. She most recently served as President of MIT's Leaders for Manufacturing Alumni Council. In that role, she raised funds and built strong alliances between MIT alumni, sponsoring corporations and faculty.
Before MIT, she ran two successful small businesses and managed engineering and purchasing teams at Ford and Qualcomm. Alison holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford and an MBA and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and she graduated from MITs Leaders for Manufacturing program. She brings strong analytical skills, a positive attitude, tenacity and attention to detail.
Since she and her husband moved to Seattle last year, she has joined the boards of Passages Northwest and Global Visionaries. Alison is a member of the USA Triathlon Women's Commission and a PADI SCUBA Instructor. Alison is also writing a book with her grandmother to inspire people to become active in their communities.
