Sara Johnston
Director of Finance & Operations
Sara is a third-generation Seattle native with extensive experience in the local nonprofit community, including serving on the board of directors for the Northwest Network, serving on the finance committee for Kol HaNeshamah, and providing accounting support for Home Alive and WorldChanging.
Sara's commitment to the nonprofit community is matched by her commitment to ongoing education. Sara holds a BA in Women's Studies from the University of Washington and a graduate level Certificate in Accounting from the University of Washington. Sara is currently studying to sit for the CPA exam.
In addition to her work as Director of Finance & Operations, Sara occasionally provides direct service to NPower Seattle customers by lending her considerable QuickBooks, Excel and critical thinking skills to local area nonprofits. In her (limited) spare time, Sara enjoys spending time with her dog Peanut, shooting hoops with co-workers and relaxing with family.
