Greater Everett Community Foundation Partnership

Building Capacity & Inspiring Relevant Innovation

Thanks to generous funding from the Greater Everett Community Foundation, NPower aims to help improve life opportunities for hard to reach populations in the Bellingham & Wenatchee communities by providing technology know-how to selected local nonprofits that serve them.

NPower will accomplish this through training, practical tools, and skills to enable these nonprofits to use technology to spread benefits to more people in their communities.

NPower will offer:

  • Stable & Secure Scans to assess local nonprofits? technology infrastructure against 12 key benchmarks
  • 2 & 1/2 days of training opportunities focused on Stable & Secure topics. These trainings will help build staff skills to establish and maintain a stable and secure technology infrastructure.
  • 2 & 1/2 days of training opportunities focused on Effective Use. These trainings will help build staff skills around the effective use of technology to increase productivity and maximize the reach and impact of the nonprofit within its community/service area.
  • Additional web-based training offerings. NPower  will follow up the in-person trainings with online learning opportunities (self-paced & interactive). These will be in the form of online workshops (webinars) or other online, interactive formats.
  • Online Community & Support. NPower is creating an online environment to help answer questions and provide a forum for participating nonprofits to share their stories with each other, building community.

How to be involved:

  • Tell us your training needs. Staff from nonprofits the Wenatchee area will be invited to complete an online survey of training needs to help guide our choices of training topics to offer. Coming soon!
  • Sign up for a Stable and Secure Scan. Nonprofits in the Bellingham and Wenatchee areas are invited to sign up for the Scan starting in May, check back for more information.
