Private Training

 

NPower Seattle's Training Department helps organizations assess, identify and meet the training needs of staff, board and volunteers at nonprofit organizations.

 

Private training empowers organizations to schedule a private session of a class from our training class catalog, which includes training in Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007, Adobe Software, Salesforce databases and Social Media. Private trainings can be scheduled at the time and place that the organization chooses.

 

Private, customized training can also be developed with specific content, training style, length, time and place that most benefits an organization. Often nonprofit will chose this training option to get their whole staff, their managers or one of their teams introduced to new or upgraded software. Customized private training is beneficial for preparing and supporting an organization to tackle a specific project, while meeting the timelines required and optimizing resources.

 

Our private training rates are based on organizations' membership status and are billed at an hourly rate. In many cases, private training can be more cost effective than our public trainings! The maximum size for a private training at NPower's classroom is 12 students and for an off-site training 15 students. For more information, contact us at training@npowerseattle.org

Educational Coaching

 

Through educational coaching, NPower partners with nonprofits to assess, plan and manage projects using technology tools. Customized coaching style, length, time and place is determined that will be most beneficial to each organization. This training option supports and guides key non-profit staff on a goal-oriented project like creation of marketing materials, updates and administration of websites or extraction and analysis of data. Educational Coaching is usually done on-site at an organization and over the course of multiple days or week, for individuals or small groups.
